The Mediation Process

To mediate your divorce, both you and your spouse must agree that you want to proceed in this manner. The next step is to contact my office to schedule our initial consultation. At this meeting, we will discuss the issues that will be mediated. I will also provide you with financial affidavits that you will need to fill out prior to our next meeting. We will determine if there is any additional information you will need to obtain before our mediation conference. We will then schedule a date and time for our mediation conference.

At the mediation conference, we will discuss all issues pertaining to your children, child support, property, assets, debts, spousal support (alimony) and any other matters you believe are necessary to resolve.  We will schedule additional mediation conferences as needed.
